Nicole Arnold
Fundraising Intern

Nicole is a wife and mother of four children aging from 2 to 14. Her oldest daughter has Autism Spectrum Disorder and behavioral issues that come with this. Her family uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy and community support, which has helped Nicole’s daughter to maximize her potential. Having two teenagers and two children under 5 years old proposes challenges as a parent that involve constant and ever-adapting behavioral therapy techniques. Nicole has also lost someone close to her because of mental health. Her younger sister was 25 years old when she passed away in her struggle with Bipolar Disorder. Nicole feels there a is a guilt that will always be there as the older sibling. Her history and current situations have drawn her to DMAX for this internship and opportunity to help people in a manner that is extremely important to her. Nicole hopes to be an asset to the organization as well as gain valuable insight that will help her not only in her career, but in her personal life as well.
