DMAX Foundation’s internship program offers college students hands-on professional experience to complement their studies on campus. Consisting of fall, spring or summer internships (or a combination), students get to be an integral part of the operations of a growing nonprofit organization and make substantive contributions to its mission. Internships run for 15 weeks in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. All internships are available for academic credit if your campus allows.

Hear From Past Interns:
Our talented interns have plenty to say about their time at DMAX!
“The mission of DMAX is only supported by the truly amazing people behind it. I, overwhelmingly, felt the love and passion today during my presentation and our conversation afterward. I have never felt so loved and encouraged by a work group before. Thank you, all, for that! ”
“My internship with the DMAX Foundation was both professionally rewarding and personally meaningful. I had the opportunity to work directly on outreach efforts, helping to obtain sponsorships and connect with donors for events that support mental health awareness. I also gained valuable experience in fundraising strategy and creative communication, using Canva to design marketing materials that elevated our campaigns and made our message more engaging to sponsors, donors, and students. This hands-on design work gave me practical marketing experience, teaching me how to tailor visuals to different audiences and strengthen brand impact.”
“Interning with DMAX this fall was an incredibly rewarding experience. I was able to contribute to meaningful projects while supporting communications efforts, helping with event preparation, and assisting with outreach while developing real, practical skills. The team created a supportive environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and taking on new challenges. I truly appreciated how much they valued my input and encouraged my growth throughout the
semester. This internship strengthened my confidence and deepened my interest in nonprofit work.”
“My experience with DMAX was truly transformative. The mission is powerful, but it’s the people behind it who make the work come alive. Through outreach lessons and real interpersonal communication building, I felt consistently supported, encouraged, and genuinely valued, something I’ve never experienced with any work group before.”
