The Workplace Readiness Fund is an opportunity to support the DMAX Foundation’s longstanding efforts to prepare young adults to enter the workforce. Addressing mental health and wellness in college students is a vital challenge. Students find themselves in new environments with changing support systems and high demands on time and energy. In spite of this, young adults are driven to prepare for the workforce and earn degrees and experience that will prepare them for their next phase of life. Internships are a key part of that preparation.

What better way to connect the DMAX Foundation mission of creating connections and conversations to strengthen mental health and wellbeing than by providing job training through our foundation?

DMAX Foundation interns work on high-value projects that shift the needle in developing, marketing and funding programs that aim to promote mental health and wellbeing for young adults. Interns get to experience mission-driven work that has a big impact and DMAX Foundation gets to benefit from working closely with college students at the Foundational level- thereby more successfully driving our programs.

In an effort to encourage wellness through work-life balance, it is vital that interns receive compensation for their work. To help DMAX Foundation offer competitive, high-value opportunities, we have created the Workplace Readiness Fund, which allows donors to target financial support specifically to young adults looking to enhance their careers in the nonprofit and mental health fields.
