As a board member of the DMAX Foundation, Austin brings a strategic, solutions-oriented perspective to the organization’s mission of expanding access to mental healthcare. Informed by his own hurdles with mental health, he focuses on driving sustainable growth and identifying innovative fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s long-term vision.

Outside of his nonprofit work, Austin is pursuing opportunities at the intersection of business and healthcare, with a focus on leveraging data-driven insights to reduce barriers to care. Deeply committed to patient-centered solutions, he is passionate about driving greater efficiency and accessibility within the healthcare system.

Austin has spent several years as a commercial leader in the pharmaceutical industry and currently serves on the Commercial Finance and Analytics team at Labcorp, a global life sciences company specializing in diagnostics and drug development. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with honors in Economics and Psychology. Additionally, he is a Phi Beta Kappa inductee, a recipient of the NC SECU “People Helping People” Scholarship, and an Eagle Scout.
